MBIPC – Delayed Payment – Data Collection Effort

Survivors, families and providers are not only dealing with decreased reimbursement and attempting to pay bills, but also to spend time and resources to rebill.  We are trying to educate legislators about this and need objective information. The insurance industry has been able to push out a narrative to the public that the patients, families and providers are gouging and overcharging the insurance companies.  The Michigan Brain Injury Provider Council (MBIPC) are attempting to gather objective information to document that the insurance companies are deflecting from their inappropriate behaviors and that they have been allowed to get away with it.

As we are advocating for a reasonable system that provides an efficient system to provide care to crash survivors, we want to provide objective information on the frequency of the delayed and/or incomplete payments.

It is essential to gather as much objective information as possible, if we want to be successful.

THE MBIPC NEEDS DOCUMENTATION OF YOUR EXPERIENCE.
YOUR IDENTITY WILL REMAIN COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS UNLESS SPECIFIC CONSENT IS REQUESTED AND OBTAINED.
